Some more Zines
I made a few more zines.
A few weeks ago, I made a few zines. However, I had planned to make five and uploaded only three that day.
These are based on balancing Work and Life and following your Passion. If you would like to surprise your co-workers or employees, feel free to print enough to leave one at everyone’s place!
Motivation is always a struggle. We all want to follow our dreams but how to keep going when it all gets hard?
These zines are to make your journey east. The quotes are obviously curated by a bunch of redditors, then cherry-picked, and then illustrated by yours truly.
However, I advise strongly against impulse action. Pursuing you dreams without a plan is like sky diving without a parachute.
A story I read in Napoleon Hill's Thought for the Day illustrates it beautifully.
"If you don't have a plan, then you're planning to fail."
A university professor on the first day of class asked his students if any of them had a plan for their life. Only three students raised their hand. The class laughed heartily. They don't have a degree till now and they talk of a life plan.
25 years later, when the reunion took place the networth of these three students was more than the combined net worth of all the other.
It's that simple. If you don't have a plan you have already failed. Make a plan and follow it, don't worry about failing. Failure is only temporary setback if you don't let it it get you down. One plan fails, make another.
“If plan A doesn't work, the alphabet has 25 more letters - 204 if you're in Japan.” - Claire Cook
Also, I am running a self-help reading challenge called Thirty Under Thirty: 30 Books you should read before you turn 30.
We are in week seven of thirty while I write this post. It is not an accident that successful people read more books.
If you are interested in participating, please fill this form.
Here is a PDF of the zines(also includes the previous three zines) that you can print out and fold into a booklet:
